apple back to school

having religiously followed Apple Back to School offer, I was disappointed when 9to5Mac reported that the offer is actually 100$ itunes store gift card.

More I think about it, the less sense it makes. In fact the only alternative I think is that the BTS is true for IPad purchase roughly half the price and proper justification of BTS offer. There will still be a traditional apple back to school offer with the ipod touch... will know tomorrow morning ...
